“My son saw Alex for speech therapy from about age 18 months to 24 months. At the beginning, he didn’t even consistently use Mama/Dada and mostly communicated by pointing. By the time he ‘graduated’, he was speaking in sentences of 2-3 words and picking up new language basically every day! It has been a total transformation and I am so amazed at how much progress he made in such a short time. My son also loved seeing Alex and grew quite fond of her — she was always so kind to him and thought of fun interactive activities like simple crafts. I am grateful that we had such a good experience.” M.J., parent of former patient
“We have had such a wonderful experience at Eat, Talk, & Play Therapy. Alex has been working with my daughter since she was ~20 months old, and diagnosed with a motor planning disorder. I truly can’t say enough positive things about her. She is the sweetest, most patient, and engaging SLP, and my daughter absolutely adores her. We’ve seen so much growth thanks to Alex’s expertise and caring approach. Christina, has also been fantastic. She made everything seamless by handling all billing and scheduling, which made the entire process stress-free. Eat, Talk & Play Therapy is an incredible practice, and we are so grateful for the support and care we’ve received over the last year.” M.H, parent of former patient
Christina has been a blessing for our family. After sitting on waitlists for months, I happened across Eat, Talk, Play on Yelp and received a very timely response about her availability. Our youngest started speech therapy with Christina around 20 months old. She was very behind on her speech milestones and really didn't even babble. She is now almost 3 and is adding dozens of new words every day and using phrases. Christina was so patient with her but also kept her on task and progressing. Christina has also provided therapy for our older daughter who is 4 with correcting some specific speech patterns and with improving her understanding of stories and directions/sequences at school. Our girls love going to her office and often ask unprompted to go see "Miss Christina." Highly recommend to anyone concerned with their child's speech and language development. - C.W., Parent of former patients
My 23 month old son has been seeing Christina for almost 6 months. He enjoys visiting her office each week. He is also comfortable with her. Christina is very professional and always answers all my questions to the best of her ability. She specializes in early intervention which has helped my son out tremendously. We have had a wonderful experience at Eat, Talk, and Play Therapy, all thanks to Christina. -- A.H., Parent of former patient.
Our little girl could only make sounds before Christina began working with her. Through teaching her how to sign and then helping her develop those sounds into words and onto sentences, we now have a very literate child! Christina is patient, thorough, inventive, firm but kind and a true treasure to work with! --C.B., Parent of a 'graduate' from speech-language therapy My boys love Christina! One of my boys has sensory issues affecting his eating. Christina had both boys for 12 weeks of playtime, I mean feeding therapy. They loved going there. We called all over town and no one had openings. Luckily, Christina was able to get us right in. So glad we found her. -- A.M., Parent of former patient
